30 year old pine floor, very worned out. We sanded it back, punched the nails down and filled the gaps – finishing by buffer. The client requested a darker color so Bona Clay oil and two layers of Bona Mega domestic use was used.
4 year old engineered floor, very worned out needed 2sqm removed. The repair was to apply adhesive to the back and sand it down to bare wood, finished with Bona Trafic HD.
This involved the removal of the complete floor. All blocks were counted down, floor scraped and given a good vaccum. Next was to apply compatible compound with bitumen and fit the floor back down with special adhesive compatible with bitumen. The finishing was sanding and filling the gaps (3 applications), priming and varnishing with Bona Trafic HD (as client has pets).
Client had requested a different colour as the original was yellowing. We sanded it back then applied filler (2 applications), used Trio from Lagler for a high finish, then applied Bona oil (clay color) and Bona oil for protection.
This job was for a beautiful kitchen with a wooden floor which the client had fitted by himself and requested our help for a perfect finish. We sanded it back, applied filler twice, used Trio from Lagler for a perfect finish and finally applied Bona oil color with oil protection.
